Ryza Cenon reminded the public to be discerning in choosing the candidate they will vote for in the upcoming May 2022 elections.

Cenon appealed to voters to carefully evaluate their decisions before casting their votes, as per her Instagram page yesterday, April 30. She also declared support for presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo and her running mate Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.

“Maging mapanuri.

(Be critical. Know the roots of your candidates. If you have already decided on who to vote for, ask yourself again, “Why will I vote for them? What have they accomplished and are planning to accomplish for the nation?”)

The actress stressed the importance of every single vote, adding that it will determine not only the future of an individual but of a whole nation. She also gave an account of the qualities of a good leader.

(In the end, we will be the ones who will bear the weight of whoever will be seated in position. Let us make sure that he/she will be prioritizing the nation before self-interest.)

(That is why I am with the candidate who will not put my vote into waste. I am with the candidate who has many accomplishments and will do more to lift our country. I am with the candidate who has the heart of a mother, because I know she will care for us and she will understand our needs.)

Cenon then warned the public about disinformation and reiterated that they should examine their candidates carefully.

(Do not be blinded by fake news so that your reasoning would not be based on lies, for your understanding to widen and your stand to come from enlightenment.)
