Daniel Padilla has finally made public his presidential bet as he and director Mandy Reyes posed beside a campaign poster for presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo. This makes Padilla’s choice in contrast with his mother’s, actress Karla Estrada, who campaigns for Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Padilla and Reyes stood beside a vehicle where a poster that says “#10 Robredo” was displayed, as seen on the director’s Facebook page today, March 9.

“Aba ewan ko sa inyo. Basta kay #LiderLeni kami ng tropa kong gangster,” Reyes said. (I don’t know about you all but I and my gangster friend are for [Leader] Leni.)

This won’t be the first time Padilla showed his support to Robredo as he and his girlfriend, actress Kathryn Bernardo, endorsed Robredo in her vice presidential bid in 2016. Meanwhile, Bernardo’s mom, Min, has also been vocal of her support for Robredo.

Estrada, who’s endorsing Marcos and his running mate Sara Duterte, recently pointed out that though members of her family have opposing political views, they still respect and understand each other. JB
