“It’s Showtime” has disqualified “Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) Grand Resbak” contestant Marco Adobas after he accused the competition of being “rigged.”
The hosts announced Adobas’ disqualification on the show’s Tuesday, March 27, episode, explaining that the contestant had violated his signed contract agreement.
(The participants in Tawag ng Tanghalan have a signed an agreement before the competition began. In an unexpected event, Marco Adobas of Pangkat Alon violated a rule stated in his signed agreement. Reason for him to be disqualified, and not continue in the competition.)
Navarro noted that the violation stemmed from the social media post Adobas made, in which he described the competition as a “cooking show,” an online slang referring to a rigged competition where the winner has already been predetermined.
(And because of the serious allegations he posted on his social media regarding the competition and the program, there is a possibility that he will be charged.)
Host Vice Ganda then reminded everyone to be cautious of the things they post on social media that could put them in a tight situation.
“Kaya everyone, be very careful.
(So everyone, be very careful. We can give our opinions, but make sure that our opinions do not harm other people or any group, and especially yourselves. More so when there are agreements that you have signed, so that you know how to carry yourselves.)
Given his disqualification, Adobas will be replaced by Arvery Lagoring, a contestant from Pangkat Amihan.
After his disqualification, Adobas extended his apologies to “It’s Showtime,” at the same time clarifying that the management is not pursuing any legal action against him.
(For those who don’t know what happened, there has been a conversation between Showtime management and me And I apologized for what I did and everything is okay. I was carried away by the rush of my emotion.)

(ABS-CBN did not sue me. We have resolved and clarified all my mistakes. So I hope it is clear to you.)

On Wednesday, March 26, Adobas took to Facebook to lament the result of one of the rounds in the singing competition after his teammate failed to secure the win.
“Grabeng cooking show mga boss! Kala ko pagalingan kumanta ang laban. Pasarapan pala ng luto,” he wrote.
(Great cooking show, bosses! I thought the competition was going to be a singing competition. It turned out to be a culinary experience. They don’t know that we struggle with the competition, staying up late, tired, throat fatigue, effort, and that’s it. They don’t know that Ayeegee even came back to the Philippines for the competition and that’s all that happened.)
