Rochelle Pangilinan names her presidential bet

Rochelle Pangilinan has made public her support for her presidential bet a few days before the May 2022 elections.
The former SexBomb dancer spoke about her decision to vote for presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo, via Pangilinan’s Instagram page yesterday, May 4. She also showed a video of Robredo.
“Ako ay isang ina. Pangunahin sa isip ko ang kinabukasan ng aking pamilya, lalo na ang anak ko. Nag-research ako… nakinig… nagbasa… nagdasal para ako ay magabayan patungo sa taong dapat kong iboto,” she said.
(I am a mother. I prioritize the future of my family most especially my child. I did my research, listened, read and prayed for guidance in choosing the candidate I will vote for.)
Pangilinan also enumerated the qualities she likes in her bet: a person who is honest, God-centered, not a thief, and values actions rather than words. According to Pangilinan, these are the contributing factors why the presidential candidate got her support.
“Higit sa lahat isa din siyang ina kagaya ko [kaya] importante rin sa kanya ang mga dahilang importante sa akin — ang pamilya at ang anak,” she stated.
(More importantly, she is a mother like me; that is why the reasons that matter to me are also important to her — family and children.)
Pangilinan is one of the celebrities who have publicly supported Robredo’s presidential bid along with Angel Locsin, Piolo Pascual, Carla Abellana, Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo, Vice Ganda, Liza Soberano, Kathryn Bernardo, Anne Curtis, Ben&Ben and Ely Buendia, among others. JB
