KC Concepcion on her relationship with Sharon Cuneta: ‘There’s nothing like mother’s love’

KC Concepcion expressed how she appreciates her mother Sharon Cuneta so much, referring to the veteran actress as her “one and only.”
Concepcion, who currently resides in New York, showed a screenshot of her video call with her mom while lamenting unresolved rifts between mothers and daughters, through Concepcion’s Instagram page yesterday, June 21.
“I hear about so many mother-daughters that never get the chance to heal their relationships nor resolve issues, and I feel lonely for them,” she said.
Concepcion then addressed Cuneta, expressing her gratitude and love toward her mother.
“I’m so thankful we’re able to speak with each other with mutual care and respect, and now talk like girlfriends and found our way back to each other!” she added. “There is nothing like having your own mother’s LOVE.”

It can be recalled that the mother and daughter had a misunderstanding in 2018, although the reason was not disclosed. In 2020, Cuneta asked Concepcion to “come back” to their family, adding how the veteran actress missed the “closeness they once had.”
Concepcion, who contracted the novel coronavirus last month, also recently expressed her appreciation for her mom, stating that Cuneta was all she needed to recover from COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Concepcion earlier called for support to help complete her New York movie “Asian Persuasion,” after it encountered financial problem during filming. /ra
