Jamela Villanueva goes cryptic after Maris Racal-Anthony Jennings exposé

While Jamela Villanueva has yet to issue a statement following her controversial exposé of her ex-boyfriend Anthony Jennings’ alleged conversations with Maris Racal, she caught the attention of netizens after reposting a video about forgiving oneself.

Villanueva piqued the interest of eagle-eyed netizens after reposting a video from @gmindset on her TikTok page, which showed motivational speaker Jay Shetty giving a reminder about “forgiving yourself.”

“Forgive yourself for letting someone make you feel like you were easy to let go. Forgive yourself for making them number one when you were just a second thought. Forgive yourself for letting them heal when all they did was hurt you,” Shetty said.

“Forgive yourself for giving them your best when all they gave you was their worst because your heart is pure. And even though you don’t have them, you’ll always have that,” he continued.

Villanueva, however, has yet to issue a statement after publicizing Racal and Jennings’ intimate exchange on social media.

Villanueva made headlines after exposing the alleged conversations between Racal and Jennings on her Instagram Stories last Dec. 3, saying it’s a way of sharing her “truth” and protecting herself and her loved ones from “attackers” on social media.

“It’s painful to be attacked by others when all I ever wanted was to protect my personal life — and protect [Anthony] out of respect,” she said. “When Maris came into the picture, I was genuinely happy for you both, I even chose to be supportive, despite the red flags I couldn’t ignore… I respected your craft. I believed in you both. But betrayal like this cuts deep.”

The revelation led to Racal and Jennings addressing the controversy in separate video statements, with the “Ate Sandali” singer noting that she understood Villanueva’s “pain, wrath, and anger.”

Jennings, on the other hand, apologized to his ex-girlfriend and onscreen partner for the controversy.

Villanueva and Jennings were in a relationship for “almost seven years” before ending their romance sometime this year.
