Vice Ganda raises over P700k for typhoon victims
Vice Ganda has so far raised over P700,000 for the victims of Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses, which both hit the country earlier this November.
The comedian is still accepting donations through his “FUNDkabogable Donation Drive,” which has collected a total of P713,918.79 as of 11:14 a.m. yesterday, Nov. 17, according to him.
“Eto na po so far ang halaga ng mga donasyon ninyo na pinadaan ninyo sa FUNDkabogable Donation Drive. Bukas pa din po ang mga accounts para tumanggap ng mga karagdagang donasyon. Maraming SALAMAT! Mabuhay po kayo!” Vice Ganda announced via Instagram.

The comedian has yet to update the total amount of cash donations collected as of today, Nov. 18.

Vice Ganda is one of the many celebrities including Nadine Lustre, Bea Alonzo and Isabelle Daza who have been extending a helping hand to the victims of the recent typhoons.
Filmmaker Erik Matti, for one, will likewise be helping out alongside producer Dondon Monteverde through their recently launched streaming service Upstream. Proceeds from their launching project “14 on 14” will be donated to Ayala Foundation Inc.’s Project Pananagutan. /ra
