Leni Robredo thanks Bea Alonzo, I Am Hope for help in typhoon relief efforts
Vice President Leni Robredo has thanked Bea Alonzo and the latter’s I Am Hope Foundation co-founder Rina Navarro for their help in the relief efforts for the victims of recent typhoons.
Robredo expressed her gratitude and broke down the exact amount and kinds of donations the foundation provided via her official Facebook page yesterday, Nov. 16.
“Lubos ang ating pasasalamat sa patuloy na pakikiisa ng I Am Hope Organization, na pinangungunahan nina Rina Navarro at ng aktres na si Bea Alonzo, sa ating mga inisiyatibo!” Robredo said.
(We are very thankful for the continuous cooperation of the I Am Hope Organization, which is being led by Rina Navarro and the actress, Bea Alonzo, in our initiatives!)

The I Am Hope Foundation also provided 200 hot meals and milk tea, which Robredo gave away to evacuees when the vice president’s team visited Francisco P. Felix Elementary School in Cainta, Rizal last Sunday, Nov. 15.
“Malaking bagay ang mga ito para sa ating mga kababayang nasalanta ng mga nagdaang bagyo. Maraming, maraming salamat!” she added.
(This is huge for our countrymen affected by the recent typhoons. Thank you very, very much!)

The I Am Hope Foundation has been providing meals, relief goods and other necessities to victims of the recent typhoons, namely Rolly and Ulysses.
The foundation is still looking for donations, both in-kind and cash, as per its Instagram post yesterday, Nov. 16. JB
