Tom Rodriguez deactivates Instagram account amid rumored split with Carla Abellana

Tom Rodriguez appears to have deactivated his Instagram account amid speculations that he and his wife, actress Carla Abellana, have called it quits.
The actor’s Instagram page (@akosimangtomas) has been wiped clean of all posts and shows blank “followers” and “following” counts as of today, March 23.
It is not immediately clear whether Rodriguez will permanently be off Instagram as he did the deactivation without prior notice to fans.

Last January, rumors about Rodriguez and Abellana’s supposed split started circulating online, after eagle-eyed fans noticed that the two unfollowed then followed each other again on Instagram.
Abellana was also spotted without her wedding ring in her YouTube vlog last Feb. 5. Despite this, Rodriguez declared love for his wife last Feb. 11.
The actress’ father, actor Rey “PJ” Abellana, then revealed in an interview with columnist Cristy Fermin earlier this month that his daughter and Rodriguez were having marital problems. However, he opted not to say that the couple broke up since he hoped they would eventually reconcile.
Rey also said in the interview that there was a “one-night stand” involved in the couple’s marital woes, but he later retracted his statement.
Carla and Rodriguez tied the knot in October 2021, after about seven years of being a couple. They started their relationship in 2014, after starring together in the TV series “My Husband’s Lover.” /ra
