WATCH: ‘Ang Probinsyano’ drops first look at Sharon Cuneta as Aurora

“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” has given a first look at Sharon Cuneta in her role as Aurora, to mark the Megastar’s teleserye debut in ABS-CBN.
In the teaser video on Dreamscape Entertainment’s Facebook page today, Nov. 24. the actress looks pensive when she arrived home with a bouquet of flowers. This is the first time Cuneta is seen in character since it was announced earlier this month that she would be joining the series’ cast.
“Andito na SHA! Ang nag-iisang Megastar, Ms. Sharon Cuneta, mapapanood na ngayong Biyernes, [Nov.] 26, sa ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’!” Dreamscape stated.
(Here she is! The one and only Megastar, Miss Sharon Cuneta, will be seen this Friday, Nov. 26, on “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”)
Cuneta gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her taping for “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” on her Instagram page, also today. She showed a photo with her co-star Tirso Cruz III and the show’s director, Malu Sevilla.
“With my Kuya Pippo [Tirso Cruz III] and my first Director in ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,’ Malu Sevilla! We are such a happy family here. Where has this show been all my life?” she asked.
Cuneta then told fans that she wished she had joined the series “sooner,” though she is grateful to be a part of it now.
“Sana di matapos ever ang show na ito! Happy na ako dito forever! Pwede naman [chief-of-police] na si Cardo at may apo na s’ya tuloy pa rin ang show!” she quipped, referring to actor Coco Martin’s character in the series.
(I hope this show never ends. I’m happy here forever. Cardo can be the chief of police and have grandchildren but the show will still go on.)

Dreamscape had earlier announced that Cuneta would be joining the cast of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” during a red carpet event with the actress held last Nov. 9.
Cuneta had also earlier stirred speculations that she would be joining the action series by showing a photo of Martin with actress Julia Montes on her Instagram page last August. Montes was introduced as Martin’s leading lady last July.
Prior to joining “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” Cuneta’s first and only teleserye was TV5’s “Madam Chairman,” which ran from 2013 to 2014. /ra
