Sharon Cuneta to star in an ABS-CBN teleserye for the first time
Shortly after working on “Revirginized,” Megastar Sharon Cuneta has landed another project by being cast in an upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye for the first time.
Cuneta subtly confirmed the news by sharing fan page Kapamilya Online World’s (KOW) Instagram post announcing the show last Tuesday, July 6.

Both Cuneta and ABS-CBN have yet to reveal more details about the teleserye, although the said project will be produced in coordination with VIVA Entertainment.

Article continues after this advertisementCuneta’s first and only teleserye so far in her over four decades in show biz was back in 2013 under TV5, which was titled “Madam Chairman.” It aired from October 2013 to February 2014.
The 55-year-old actress recently starred in Darryl Yap’s “Revirginized” alongside Marco Gumabao. The film is set to be available for streaming this August.
The news of her new project comes months after the Megastar’s announcement in October last year that she would be “retiring soon.” /ra
