‘Kadenang Ginto’ Gold Squad to star in horror film

Even if hit soap opera “Kadenang Ginto” wrapped up last February, the Gold Squad—composed of Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Kyle Echarri and Francine Diaz—continues to collaborate on projects.

The teen stars will work together on horror film “All Nighter,” an offering of Black Sheep, the production studio announced yesterday, March 9.

Helming the movie is Gino M. Santos, whose roster includes erotic thriller “Sin Island” and romantic drama “Ex with Benefits.”

Love teams KyCine and SethDrea became breakout stars with the ratings success of “Kadenang Ginto,” in part because of over-the-top scenes made into memes. The rivalry for an inheritance waged between Romina Andrada (Beauty Gonzalez) and Daniela Mondragon (Dimples Romana) extended to their own children, Cassie (Diaz) and Marga (Brillantes).

The love teams also had individual movies streamed on iWant in November, namely SethDrea’s “Wild Little Love” and KyCine’s “Silly Red Shoes.”  /ra
