WATCH: Maine Mendoza bonds with Arjo’s grandma through ‘Tala’ dance
After performing Sarah Geronimo’s “Tala” with Arjo Atayde, Maine Mendoza took the dance craze to his family.

The Kapuso star gave dance lessons to Arjo’s paternal grandmother, Pilar Atayde, as seen in an Instagram post of his mom, Sylvia Sanchez, on Monday, Feb. 3. A second video at the end of the post shows Arjo’s sister Gela joining her grandmother and Mendoza.

“Coach @mainedcm thank you at pinasaya mo kaming lahat sa kakulitan mong mapag tala kami haha,” Sanchez said in the caption.

Article continues after this advertisementThe “Pamilya Ko” star was all praises for Mendoza, saying that the family loves her. “Ang cute mo [Maine] at mahal ka ng buong pamilya dahil sa kabutihan mo at higit sa lahat nabully mo napahalakhak at napagtala mo ang asawa ko hahaha.”
(You are so cute Maine and the whole family loves you because of your kindness and most of all you bullied my husband, made him burst in laughter and got him to dance “Tala.”)
As friends requested to see her husband Art’s performance, Sanchez promised that she would soon post the video of his dance with Mendoza.
The “Eat Bulaga!” host admitted in March 2019 that she and Arjo were dating. /ra
