LOOK: Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid host Martin Nievera’s birthday party
For Concert King Martin Nievera’s birthday, some of the biggest names in the music industry got together for a “birthday salubong” with him, namely Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid, and his ex-wife Concert Queen Pops Fernandez, among others.
Nievera is celebrating his 58th birthday today, Feb. 5. His dear friends in the music industry made an effort to ensure that Nievera’s day would be extra special through a party hosted by music couple Velasquez and Alcasid. Fernandez thanked the Alcasids for their efforts, as seen on her Instagram post today, Feb. 5.

Fernandez shared with fans some scenes at the party attended by special guests, through a series of collages on her Instagram Stories. “Ang Probinsyano” actor Rowell Santiago and singer Dingdong Avanzado made an appearance at the Concert King’s dinner. There was also a peek into some of the food served during the night.
“Happy bday @martinnievera,” Fernandez said.

Meanwhile, Alcasid also expressed his love for his dear friend, as seen on Alcasid’s Instagram post yesterday. The group filled a long table and Nievera posed at the head, raising his hand up with a smile.

In time for Valentine’s season, Nievera and Fernandez are set to take the stage in their latest concert series “Two-gether Again” in Solaire, which will run from Feb. 14 to 21. JB
