LOOK: Belle Mariano, Donny Pangilinan’s upcoming project teased by ABS-CBN’s Star Creatives
Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan, known as the popular loveteam DonBelle, appeared to have been preparing for an upcoming project which was hinted by Star Creatives.
Mariano and Pangilinan’s teleserye was teased by the ABS-CBN subsidiary, Star Creatives, on its official Twitter account on Tuesday, Feb. 14. The tweet showed a screenshot of the onscreen partners at what appeared to be an online meeting with ABS-CBN’s Head of TV Production Laurenti Dyogi, Pangilinan’s parents Maricel Laxa and Anthony, and Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN chief operating officer for broadcast.

Star Creatives, a production company under ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc., is known for producing some of the network’s most popular teleseryes including “The Legal Wife” starring Jericho Rosales, Angel Locsin, and Maja Salvador; “Esperanza” starring Judy Ann Santos; “Pangako Sa’yo” starring Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa; “Pangako Sa’yo” 2015 reboot starring Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Ian Veneracion, and Jodi Sta. Maria; “Princess and I” starring Kathryn Bernardo; Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil, and Khalil Ramos; and “Ngayon at Kailanman” starring Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, among many others.
Article continues after this advertisementWhile details of DonBelle’s upcoming project have yet to be revealed, they are set to star in the teleserye “Can’t Buy Me Love” was first unveiled on the network’s omnibus trailer in December 2022. The trailer also included the currently ongoing dramas “Dirty Linen” and “Batang Quiapo”, as well as the upcoming shows “Linlang” and “Teen Clash”.
The popular loveteam previously worked together in the youth-oriented series “He’s Into Her” and the films “Love is Color Blind” and “An Inconvenient Love”. The DonBelle starrer show was named as the Best Drama in a Miniseries at the 35th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Television in January 2023.
Mariano and Pangilinan also bagged the prestigious German Moreno Power Tandem of the Year during the coveted awarding ceremony, along with Kapuso stars Mikee Quintos and Kelvin Miranda. They were recently spotted on what appeared to be a date at a Japanese restaurant on Valentine’s Day. EDV
