Pia Wurtzbach, Iris Mittenaere, Demi-Leigh Tebow chosen as hosts of Miss Universe PH 2022
Pia Wurtzbach and her fellow Miss Universe queens Iris Mittenaere and Demi-Leigh Tebow are joining forces to host the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2022 pageant.
The Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) organization announced that the former titleholders would be hosting the pageant while showing the three queens in gold gowns on its Facebook and Instagram pages today, March 26.
“[Uniquely beautiful] meets [confidently beautiful]. You’re in for a phenomenal show, Universe! Introducing our hosts for the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 finals, April 30, at the [Mall of Asia Arena]!” it stated.
MUPH added that special guests are set to be announced for the local pageant soon.
Wurtzbach was named Miss Universe back in 2015. She then passed on her crown to Mittenaere in 2016, while Tebow was crowned in 2017.

The Miss Universe Philippines organization revealed its top 50 delegates last Feb. 28, and it is set to “narrow the field” until only 30 delegates remain.
MUPH has so far named the winners for its various challenges: Baguio’s Ghenesis Latugat (fashion and runway), Mandaue City’s Isabel Luche (headshot), Bohol’s Pauline Amelincx (introduction) and Taguig City’s Ma. Katrina Llegado (swimsuit).
The candidates are all vying to be the next Miss Universe Philippines, following Beatrice Luigi Gomez who ended her journey in the global Miss Universe competition as part of its top 5. /ra
