Liza Soberano hits like, reposts report on Bea Alonzo’s cyberlibel filing
Liza Soberano appears to have expressed support—albeit in an indirect manner—for fellow actress Bea Alonzo who filed cyberlibel cases against Cristy Fermin and Ogie Diaz, the younger actress’ former talent manager.
Soberano shared a report from entertainment blog Fashion Pulis through her X (formerly Twitter) page on Thursday, May 2. The report features a photo of Alonzo from when she was filing the charges before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
The tweet was also noticeably included in the likes section of Soberano’s page.
While Soberano did not provide any caption on her social media activity, it nonetheless spoke volumes, which some netizens pointed out. The actress, meanwhile, did not immediately comment on the matter.
Alonzo earlier filed three separate cyberlibel complaints against showbiz columnist Fermin, talk show host Diaz, their co-hosts in their respective online programs, and an unnamed netizen who allegedly pretended to personally know the actress and spoke on her behalf.
