Jenine Desiderio cuts grandson Jude’s hair for first time, tells Markus Paterson: ‘You’re next’

Jenine Desiderio appears to have maintained a good relationship with Markus Paterson, her daughter Janella Salvador’s former partner, as Desiderio jokingly addressed the actor after she cut the hair of her grandson Jude for the first time.
The singer and actress, who once played the role of the hardened bar girl Gigi in the West End musical “Miss Saigon,” documented Jude’s first haircut through a series of photos shown on her Instagram page on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
“Jude’s [first] haircut with Lala,” she said in the caption. “Sorry naman kung ‘di pantay! Ang likot kasi.” (I’m sorry if the haircut was uneven. [Jude] kept on moving [while having the haircut].)
“[Markus], you’re next!” she quipped, tagging the actor.

Fans were then charmed by the 2-year-old kid’s cuteness as they complimented him via the comments section, with some saying he definitely got his looks from his parents.

Salvador and Paterson’s breakup was confirmed to the public last September after the actress revealed that she was a single mom to their son Jude. Paterson later disclosed that he and Salvador had been separated for “almost a year” before the split was made public.
In the same month, Paterson made headlines after he stated that the lesson he got from his past relationships was to “never to f*cking date someone in the industry.” Paterson then clarified that the remark was not about Salvador, noting that they were on good terms. The actor also vowed that he will “love her forever” and that Salvador “will always be a huge part of [his] heart.”
Salvador and Paterson confirmed their relationship in September 2020. A few months after, they revealed that they were already parents as they introduced Jude to the public. /ra
