Angel Locsin urges disheartened follower: ‘Ituloy ang malasakit sa bayan, kapwa’
Angel Locsin encouraged a fellow supporter of her presidential bet to continue being compassionate despite the election results.
The actress had an exchange with one @shawyville who is a supporter of presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo, via Locsin’s Instagram page yesterday, May 11. While there were no mentions about the candidate, the netizen was apparently pertaining to Robredo trailing behind Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the presidential race.
“Umiyak ka rin ba katulad namin?” the netizen asked. (Did you also cry like us?)
“Malungkot but taas noo. Ituloy natin ang nabuong malasakit sa bayan at sa kapwa. Proud to have fought alongside you,” Locsin replied.
([I am] sad but proud. Let us continue the compassion that we built towards our country and fellowmen. Proud to have fought alongside you.)

(I understand but you have to lift yourself up or else our sacrifices and efforts will be for nothing, right?)
In the partial and unofficial counting based on the Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) transparency server, Marcos still leads the presidential race with 31,086,149 votes, as of 3:57 p.m yesterday, May 11. He is followed by Robredo with 14,812,792 votes. JB
