Rihanna’s designer slams cheating rumors with A$AP Rocky: ‘An unfounded lie’

Rihanna’s designer Amina Muaddi has set the record straight on rumors that American rapper A$AP Rocky had cheated on Rihanna amid the “Diamonds” singer’s pregnancy.
Muaddi, a shoe designer for Rihanna’s fashion and beauty brand Fenty, addressed the issue via a statement on her Instagram Stories today, April 16 (April 15 in the United States).
“I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn’t deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile. I initially assumed that this fake gossip—fabricated with such malicious intent—would not be taken seriously,” she said. “However, in the last [24 hours] I’ve been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to speak on topics regardless of factual basis and that nothing is off limits.”
Muaddi added that she opted to speak up since the issue was not only directed at her but also at people she had “a great amount of respect and affection for.”
“While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best dressed pregnancy life and I go back to my business—I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend!” she greeted the public.

Rumors on A$AP Rocky and Rihanna’s supposed split started after Paris-based influencer Louis Pisano claimed in a now-deleted Twitter post yesterday, April 15, that the rapper had an affair with Muaddi and that the couple broke up. Pisano has since apologized for the “unnecessary drama” he had caused and said he would take time off Twitter for a while.
Rihanna announced that she and A$AP Rocky are expecting their first child by showing off her baby bump last January. She also assured fans that she would still be releasing music in the future amid her “exciting” pregnancy. /ra
