“Frozen” star Idina Menzel has sent love to a Ukrainian girl who went viral after she was shown singing “Let It Go” from inside a bomb shelter.

The Tony Award-winning actress showed a video of the girl belting out the Ukrainian version of the “Frozen” song and grinning after being applauded by her audience, as seen on Menzel’s Twitter page last Sunday, March 6. The said singing moment features a child named Amelia, as per NBC News today, March 9.

Menzel showed support for Amelia and her fellow Ukrainians, telling them she “sees” her.

“We see you. We really, really see you,” she said.

Menzel reposted the said video from one @Ankita20200, though it was reportedly first shown by one Marta Smekhova on Facebook last March 3.

Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who composed “Let It Go” with her husband Robert Lopez, also applauded Amelia via her Twitter page last Monday, March 7.

“Dear little girl with the beautiful voice, my husband and I wrote this song as part of a story about healing a family in pain. The way you sing it is like a magic trick that spreads the light in your heart and heals everyone who hears it,” she told Amelia. “Keep singing! We are listening!”

Menzel voiced the “Frozen” character Elsa in the original 2013 Disney film and its 2019 sequel, alongside Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff.

Since the first movie’s release, “Let It Go” became hugely popular among young children. It scored the 2014 Oscar for Best Original Song and made it to the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Celebrities who also showed their support for war victims in Ukraine include Gigi Hadid, Sean PennJavier Bardem and Ashton Kutcher. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, meanwhile, called for donations to refugees and pledged to double the amount raised by up to $1 million (P51.3 million).  /ra
