Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively to double each donation by up to $1 million for Ukrainian refugees
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are extending help to Ukrainian refugees by calling for donations and pledging to double the amount of each by up to $1 million (P51.3 million).
Reynolds urged fans to donate to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the U.N. organization aiding “refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people,” via his Twitter page yesterday, Feb. 27.
“In 48 hours, countless Ukrainians were forced to flee their homes to neighboring countries. They need protection. When you donate, we’ll match it up to $1,000,000, creating double the support,” the actor said.
