Maxene Magalona looks back on wedding gown fitting, thanks mom-in-law for her dream dress

Maxene Magalona recounted the first time she wore her Vera Wang wedding gown, while thanking her husband Rob Mananquil’s mother for making one of her dreams come true.
Magalona showed fans a throwback photo of her wedding gown fitting, which she described as a “blissful” moment on her Instagram page yesterday, Jan. 11.
“I remember feeling so elated and blissful seeing myself wear something so delicately beautiful. I’ve always dreamt of wearing [Vera Wang] on my wedding day and it was my sweet mother-in-law [Millet Mananquil] who made that dream come true,” she said.
The actress then expressed her gratitude to her mother-in-law, noting how she felt loved and accepted by the latter.
“I just want to offer her my sincere gratitude for being the kind, generous and selfless soul that she has always been to the lucky people in her life,” she added. “I’m so blessed that I met her and felt her love and acceptance from the very beginning.”

Meanwhile, Magalona also showed fans snaps from her bridal shower, stressing how she felt an “overwhelming emotion” that she needed to share, as shown on a separate post, also yesterday. The actress then thanked her mother Pia Magalona for organizing the said party.
“I see each and every one of you and appreciate you for the love that you shared with me. I am truly grateful and honored,” she said.

Magalona recently dined with her in-laws to celebrate New Year’s eve, amid breakup speculations surrounding her marriage with Mananquil. Though there is still no confirmation from the two, as of writing, Magalona spoke about having a “sad soul” while embarking on a recent solo Boracay trip. JB
