Heart Evangelista to release her first NFTs in November
Heart Evangelista has ventured into making non-fungible tokens by collaborating with Filipino artists for her first digital art NFT (non-fungible token).
The actress announced her new project while showing a photo of herself painting, on her Instagram page yesterday, Oct. 20. Evangelista told fans she has been studying about NFTs recently while explaining to them how the technology works.
“It’s a new kind of digital art that is secured by blockchain technology and can take many digital forms including art, videos and music. Basically, anything that can be stored digitally can be made into an NFT,” she said.
Evangelista then revealed that she has been working on her first digital art pieces with NFT artist Luis Buenaventura and Manila Philharmonic Orchestra’s composer Rodel Colmenar.
“It’s such a thrill to work with these talented artists to bring these NFT pieces to life and I’m so excited to share them with you [starting on Nov.] 4,” she added.
