Actress Heart Evangelista has donated one of her paintings to aid frontliners, as the country’s fight against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic goes on.

Evangelista chose to let go of one of her most recent paintings, titled “Upended 2020”, for the relief effort, she said on Instagram earlier today, May 27.

“Art for a cause. My painting, ‘Upended 2020,’ was donated to Art for Life and the proceeds will go to our dear frontliners,” she said. “I’m sad to let it go but I’m so so happy that it will be part of someone else’s story.”

Evangelista also gave fans a peek at the said artwork, which depicts a woman lying down, painted in light, neutral colors and pink hues.

The actress said via Twitter on May 25 that the artwork was donated as part of the Art for Life group’s initiative to sell art to raise funds for frontliners.

The actress in the past few days has also revealed to fans and followers that she has been working on several paintings while in quarantine. For one, she shared “this week’s work in progress” just yesterday, May 26.

Evangelista can also be seen working on a painting over a wider canvas, as seen on her Instagram page on May 23.

“We’ve been getting really beautiful sunsets lately…maybe that’s why I’ve been using so much golden tones in my artwork,” she said.

Evangelista has been conducting relief efforts to help out amid the pandemic, including sending Vitamin C supplements to frontliners and sending financial aid and relief goods to those in need. JB
