Gary Valenciano not transferring networks, wife Angeli Pangilinan assures
Gary Valenciano’s wife Angeli Pangilinan has denied that the singer is leaving ABS-CBN, amid rumors that he is set to transfer networks.
Speculations on Valenciano’s supposed transfer started on Twitter last Friday, Oct. 15, when he asked fans to pray for him as he made “major decisions.”
However, talent manager Pangilinan stressed that there is no truth to the rumors as she talked about the issue on her Twitter page today, Oct. 18. She was being asked by a netizen to clarify if Valenciano will be leaving ABS-CBN.
“Pure Gossip. Where did you get that? He had to make a personal decision, not a professional decision,” she told fans. She also assured them that Valenciano will still appear in the Sunday noontime variety show “ASAP Natin ‘To.”
“We respect the decisions of others to move but he is not led to do so,” Pangilinan added.

Pangilinan pointed out that Valenciano has been with the Kapamilya network for 18 years. She then noted that ABS-CBN looked after their family when the singer suffered a “medical crisis.”
Valenciano served as a judge for the dance competition “World of Dance” in 2019, after he went through heart bypass surgery and kidney cancer.
According to Pangilinan, Valenciano “never considered” transferring to a different network.
Lastly, for those who have prayed with us&for him we want to thank u. It touched us deeply that hundreds perhaps thousands prayed for him. Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat. Naramdaman namin ang pagmamahal ninyo at lungkot. Huwag kayong mag-alala. Mananatili siyang Kapamilya💙💚❤️
