SB19’s ‘Alab’ claims No. 1 spot on Billboard’s LyricFind Global chart
P-pop group SB19’s hit single “Alab” has entered Billboard’s LyricFind Global chart at No. 1 this week.
Aside from claiming the top spot on the chart, the five-member group also ranked 6th on the LyricFind chart in the United States, as seen on Billboard’s website.
“The impact of Filipino music is beyond doubt! ‘Alab’ debuts at 1st on Billboard LyricFind Global Chart and 6th on LyricFind US Chart! Thank you for the recognition!” the group also announced via its Twitter page on Nov. 24.

The LyricFind charts rank the top-trending lyric searches through LyricFind’s syndication service, according to Billboard.
Article continues after this advertisementThis is far from the first time SB19 made it into the charts of Billboard, however, as the group already previously entered the Social 50 list at number 3 back in July, just behind K-pop superstar groups BTS and EXO.
Article continues after this advertisementSB19, the first and only Filipino group to make it to the Social 50 chart so far, debuted at the 28th spot in December 2019. The Social 50 chart ranks musical artists based on their online popularity by tracking their activity on social media platforms.
In November also last year, SB19 also made it to Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart. The P-pop group, composed of Sejun, Josh, Stell, Ken and Justin, was trained by a Korean entertainment company before debuting in the Philippines in 2018. /ra
