Actress and social media star Ivana Alawi has finally breached the 10 million subscribers mark on YouTube just after around 14 months on the platform.
Alawi, who posts various kinds of content such as pranks and online challenges, among others, shared the good news to her fans via Instagram yesterday, Nov. 23.
“HAPPY 10 MILLION!!! [emoji] 1 year and 2 months on Youtube.[emoji] We love you!!! — Alawi Family,” she stated.
Alawi’s post came with a photo of her with her mother Fatima and her siblings Mona and Hashim, all of whom are often part of her videos.
The actress, who gets millions of views on every video, is expected to receive the Diamond Play Button from YouTube, the award for amassing 10 million subscribers.
In her most recent upload, posted on Nov. 18, Alawi vlogged about her journey taking part in relief operations for the victims of Typhoon Ulysses in Cagayan and Isabela.
Alawi first uploaded a video on YouTube back in August 2019. To date, her “A Day In My Life” video has amassed the biggest number of views among her other videos, at around 24 million.
Apart from her internet career, Alawi also appears in teleseryes and films. Most recently, she starred alongside Jake Cuenca in the horror movie “Sitsit” which premiered last Halloween. JB
