LOOK: Ivana Alawi visits Cagayan for relief efforts

Ivana Alawi made a personal visit to Cagayan Valley to provide aid to families affected by the severe flooding in the province.

The actress and social media sensation announced yesterday, Nov. 17, on Facebook that she had repacked and distributed relief goods for flood victims of Isabela and Cagayan.

The vlogger, looking nondescript in an all-black outfit, also paid a courtesy call on Cagayan Gov. Manuel Mamba, as seen in a post from the province’s information office.

Besides Alawi, actresses KC Concepcion and Ruffa Gutierrez, along with her teen daughters Lorin and Venice, visited the disaster-stricken Tuguegarao City.

Stars have extended help to victims of Typhoon Ulysses through their own means. Vice Ganda managed to raise over P700,000, while superstar couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla personally repacked relief goods.  /ra
