K Brosas silences basher by reporting them to their employer
Singer and comedienne K Brosas has apparently had enough of her bashers’ insults as she said she reported one of them to their employer.
The comedienne, whose real name is Maria Carmela Brosas, revealed on Twitter last Wednesday, July 29, that she had one basher on her Facebook page who cursed her “mula puyo hanggang talampakan” (from head to toe) and sent her a sexually inappropriate message.
After tracing the netizen’s name and complete information, she was able to contact their employer. Brosas said that she would like to file a case on the basher.
Share ko Lang, SA fb fan page ko May isang basher na pimagmumura ako Mula puyo Hanggang talampakan at o.a SA laswa NG msg.. Di ako sumagot. Naka public sha w/ complete info. Tinawagan ko yung employer. Compirm. Sabi ko file ako kaso. naloka! Award! Yun lang. Habanaysdey ☺️😘

The comedienne later in the day said that the basher deactivated their account. More netizens who are apparently in her “line up” have deactivated their social media profiles as well.

Without mentioning the basher or their employer, Brosas announced that she received an email telling her: “[We] don’t tolerate that kind of behavior [ma’am,] we will take necessary action,” as per her post yesterday, July 30.

The comedienne has been vocal on social media in her criticism of President Rodrigo Duterte, earning her harsh feedbacks online.
Brosas was previously insulted for her supposed lack of relevance and her old age by vlogger Banat By, who is an avid supporter of the administration.
Some netizens, who also express their support for the President, slammed Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Deputy Administrator Mocha Uson and the Facebook page Mocha Uson Blog for reposting Banat By’s remark.
The netizens said Uson should not entertain the vlogger’s insults and should not counter arguments based on how one person looks. Brosas retweeted the screengrabs of the exchange on her Twitter account last Wednesday as well.

“Kapwa [ka-DDS di] na rin kinaya,” Brosas noted. “[Kung] ako ay ‘gurang’ at daming wrinkles keme ano pa tamang description [sa] ating pangulo? Ako never ako humanas sa itsura nila ha infer.”
(Even their fellow diehard Duterte supporters (DDS) could not take it. If I am “very old” and have a lot of wrinkles, what should be the right description for our president? I never talked about their looks.) /ra
