Charo Santos lauds Daniel Padilla: ‘He amazes me in every scene!’

Charo Santos expressed her admiration for Daniel Padilla after they finished shooting their new film “Whether the Weather Is Fine” yesterday, Feb. 11.

“This kid is really something!” the seasoned actress said in her Instagram post on the same day.

“Been watching him since he started pero iba pala (but it is different) when you get to work with him… at lalo pa (and especially) when you get to actually know him!” she added.

Santos also stated that Padilla “amazes [her] in every scene.” Working with the actor even gets her kilig (giddy) every time, she admitted. She then jokingly said sorry to his girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo.

Addressing Padilla, she said, “You are one of a kind… continue to love your art, your craft and your family.”

“You still have a big world to conquer… go for it!” Santos added. “I will be proudly watching.”

Santos and Padilla star in the upcoming movie “Whether the Weather Is Fine” as mother and son. Their characters will try survive the aftermath of Supertyphoon Yolanda back in 2013. The project is helmed by filmmaker Carlo Francisco Manatad.  /ra
