Julia Barretto evades question on recent controversy
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Julia Barretto dodged questions on the controversy hounding her and fellow actors Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo when she faced the media for the first time since they made headlines.
When asked about how she is doing amid the controversy, Barretto chose to talk instead about an upcoming show in California for ABS-CBN’s musical-variety show “ASAP.”
“I’m excited. I’m excited for ASAP in San Francisco. It’s actually my first time also in San Francisco so I’m excited that I’m gonna be with the other artists also,” Barretto said Thursday in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
When pressed for a response on how she is, Barretto said: “I’m excited for ASAP.”
She also repeated the answer when asked if she is unbothered amid intrigues.
This was Barretto’s first public appearance amid continuous speculations surrounding her relationship with Anderson.
