The reunion was in light of Liu being honored with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was awarded under the TV category for work on “Ally McBeal,” “Elementary” and “Southland.”

Liu is the second Asian-American to receive a Hollywood star. Her star is beside that of Anna May Wong, the first Chinese-American to be recognized on the Walk of Fame.
