The Grand parents.I Miss my Mom Celia and Dad Ramon. Today after swimming and walking back home, I imagined them both walking to me from afar with towels in their hands. I felt unbearably sad for a minute. Had to snap myself out of the spell. I stopped and talked to them aloud right then and there. I asked them to look after Pepe, who my family all think is a splitting image of my Dad, and Pilar who my family thinks looks a lot like my Mom. I guess each side has its own bias, haha! They were proud and happy parents that I was doing well as a professional, and on TV at that, long before they both passed in 2004. Their one fervent wish for me was to land a man who would love and take care of me. And for me to have a child. Wow, how I wish they were around to hold their grandchildren by me. But I know my kids have powerful guardian angels in Lolo and Lola now. One day, we all meet.🌈😇💚
Sanchez said she started talking to her late parents out loud to ask them to look after Pepe and Pilar. The Kapamilya host also pointed out that the twins resemble her parents, jesting, “I guess each side has its own bias.”
“How I wish they were around to hold their grandchildren by me,” Sanchez said. “But I know my kids have powerful guardian angels in Lolo and Lola now.”
Sanchez also gave a shoutout to her husband, politician Mar Roxas, as she mentioned her parents’ “fervent wish” for her, which was “to land a man who would love and take care of me.”
Celia and Ramon Sanchez Sr. both passed away in 2004. Aside from previously explaining the twins’ catchy nicknames, the host revealed that she named them after their maternal and paternal grandparents, as per “Rated K” last April 14. JB
