LOOK: Korina Sanchez remembers late parents, calls them ‘guardian angels’ of her twins
Korina Sanchez misses her parents Celia Sanchez and Ramon Sanchez, Sr., wishing they were still around to see her family, and calling them the “powerful guardian angels” to her twins, Pepe and Pilar.
The “Rated K” host took to Instagram to express her “unbearably sad” moment as she reminisced her late parents yesterday, May 1.
“Today after swimming and walking back home, I imagined them both walking to me from afar with towels in their hands,” Sanchez said. “I felt unbearably sad for a minute. [I] Had to snap myself out of the spell.”

Sanchez said she started talking to her late parents out loud to ask them to look after Pepe and Pilar. The Kapamilya host also pointed out that the twins resemble her parents, jesting, “I guess each side has its own bias.”
Article continues after this advertisement“How I wish they were around to hold their grandchildren by me,” Sanchez said. “But I know my kids have powerful guardian angels in Lolo and Lola now.”
Article continues after this advertisementSanchez also gave a shoutout to her husband, politician Mar Roxas, as she mentioned her parents’ “fervent wish” for her, which was “to land a man who would love and take care of me.”
Celia and Ramon Sanchez Sr. both passed away in 2004. Aside from previously explaining the twins’ catchy nicknames, the host revealed that she named them after their maternal and paternal grandparents, as per “Rated K” last April 14. JB
