Since becoming a mom, Isabelle Daza has been sharing snippets of her life in her new role. The actress-turned-fitness entrepreneur captures her bond with baby Balthazar in portraits where she’s glammed up — and more importantly, breastfeeding.

Recently, she’s made traveling while breastfeeding look stylish too. Last June, while in Melbourne, the new mom was captured in a sunny glow as she breastfed baby Baltie, her husband Adrien Semblat looking with love at his son.

The family of three is vacationing in France, Semblat’s home country, and Daza wasted no time showing that nursing can be done in sunny Saint-Tropez too.

Breastfeeding has been controversial in different parts of the world: there are still those who have the notion that showing a woman’s breast in public is indecent. This opinion reflected in some comments on Daza’s post, such as one from a certain @12ellese who advised, “You can do it for as long as you want and you can do it also without showing it to the public.”

However, other moms chimed in about feeding their infants wherever and whenever they need to.

One netizen, Veronica Byrne (@veeautiful), shared how she was going for a walk at a public area when she realized it was time to feed her baby. “So while pushing a pram I held my 4-week-old baby breastfeeding and walking.”

Daza also received encouragement from showbiz friends. “Strike anywhere,” said Cristalle Belo, who is a new mom herself.

“What a mom,” praised cager Kobe Paras.

TV host Bianca Gonzalez, who via social media has also given her take on breastfeeding, said, “We gotta do what we gotta do! Go momma!”

Women around the world have been moving towards removing the stigma from nursing in public. Australian senator Larissa Waters made headlines when she became the first mom to nurse while in Australia’s parliament in June 2017.

In 2016, American mom Kelly Stanley made waves for standing up to her father after he threw a napkin at her while she nursed her baby at a restaurant.

“We can’t sit here and tout that breast is best and then have a fit about how inappropriate it is to feed a baby in public,” she said in a viral Sept. 12, 2016 Instagram post. “Breastfeeding is NOT indecent exposure. It’s not inviting men to gawk at my breasts.” JB
