Marian championing breastfeeding even ‘mag-sag boobs ko’

A staunch advocate of breast feeding, Kapuso primetime actress Marian Rivera vows to breastfeed her future kids even if her boobs sag.
“Tinataguyod ko ang sambayanang ka-Pilipinahan about breast feeding eh. And exposed talaga ako and sinasabi ko talaga na nagpapadede ako for two and a half years and one year straight na ako lang. Hindi siya madali, commitment siya kailangan disiplina at ‘pag mahal mo talaga lahat i-sa-sacrifice mo talaga ‘yung sarili mo,” Marian said in a press conference on Thursday for her new endorsement of Mega Prime.
Since her television debut and up until now that she has a 2-year-old kid, Marian still holds the throne as one of the most beautiful and desirable women in Philippine showbiz.
She has also been a consistent fashion and men’s magazine cover girl and idolized for her almost perfect physique. But she is willing to sacrifice herself to the extent that if breastfeeding deforms her breasts, she wouldn’t mind at all. She is willing to do everything for her kid or perhaps future kids.
“I don’t care, mag-sag ‘yung boobs ko lumaki ‘yung nipple ko, I don’t care. Talagang gagawin ko lahat para sa anak ko,” she said.
She does not however have anything against women who don’t prefer to breastfeed but as for her, her child comes first and she is willing to take on the physical consequences of her advocacy.
“If ayaw mo, express mo through pumping kung talagang ayaw mo ng direct feeding pero ako talaga sabi ko kahit mag-flat pa ’yan kahit lumaki pa ’yan hanggang dun kita ’yung nipple ko I don’t care, basta para sa anak ko gagawin ko ’yan,” she said.
Marian Rivera is currently seen on Kapuso network’s “Sunday Pinasaya.”
