LOOK: Jackie Forster bonds with fellow ‘Regal Babies’ Karla, Donita, Sunshine and Ruffa
While back in the country, Jackie Forster took the time to reunite with some of her dearest friends in show business — actresses who were her fellow Regal Babies.
Forster reconnected with actresses Ruffa Gutierrez, Sunshine Cruz, Karla Estrada and Donita Rose through a dinner date at a restaurant in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Monday, July 16. She was accompanied by her son Kobe Paras and rumored girlfriend, Ateneo Lady Eagles volleybelle Ponggay Gaston.
“I’m so thankful for the gift of friendship,” Forster gushed about that night on her Instagram page.

Gutierrez shared another photo from their dinner, featuring her with fellow actresses. She wrote: “In good and bad times… Friends for life.”

Fans of the group had several reactions on their photos, with some being nostalgic. One fan @darling_kaye said that the actresses were her favorites way back in her teen years.

Meanwhile, @katrinadionne described the ladies as “beautiful mommies.”

Another fan, @joon_ice, noticed how the actresses looked young despite their age, complimenting them by saying they “[bathed] in the fountain of youth.”

The actresses are referred to as Regal Babies for starring in films by Regal Entertainment back in the 1990s. There was one instance when some of them worked together, in the 1992 film “First Time… Like A Virgin” starring Forster, Cruz and Estrada, with the late star comedian Rene Requiestas.
Aside from working for Regal, Rose, Gutierrez, Cruz and Estrada appeared on the much-loved teen-oriented variety show “That’s Entertainment” which ran from 1986 to 1996. JB
