LOOK: Sunshine Cruz, Teresa Loyzaga grateful as Diego, half-sisters bond
Bonding with siblings would seem to be an ordinary occurrence — but Diego Loyzaga and sisters Angelina, Samantha and Chesca aren’t just any siblings.
The four are half-siblings who share a dad, actor and Department of Tourism (DOT) Tourism Promotions Board chief operating officer Cesar Montano.
Diego, 22, is Cesar’s son with first wife Teresa Loyzaga, while the girls are from Cesar’s second marriage with Sunshine Cruz.
Both Teresa and Sunshine have raised their children on their own after splitting from the actor — and have since nurtured a relationship with one another and their children.
Based on their Instagram Stories, Diego picked up his younger siblings and drove them to a mall where they shared a meal at a restaurant.
Sunshine shared the video of their meet-up on her Instagram. “My girls are blessed to have such a loving kuya,” she said. “Thank you for always finding time to see your sisters. Sama na kami ni mom mo soon (Your mom and I will join you soon)!”

Teresa replied, “How lucky are we Shine!”
She also proudly shared a picture of their children during their meal. Gushing to Sunshine, she said, “Look at our children. We must’ve done something good after all!! Cheers girlfriend!”

“They are our greatest blessing Tong!” Sunshine responded.
Though the “Wildflower” actress has kept her distance from Montano with whom she has an ongoing annulment case, her daughters have been able to see their dad. Their last reported reunion was in January 2018 after two years.
The children’s relationship with their dad has been rocky. Last February 2017, Diego had a public feud with his dad on social media and received support from his sisters and their mothers.
