Ryan Agoncillo reveals secret to looking young—no anti-aging cream needed
If you think Ryan Agoncillo hasn’t aged after decades in the showbiz industry, you’re not alone.
In fact, the TV host and actor has heard the comment so often that he’s beginning to think it’s not a compliment.
“Alam mong nagkaka-edad ka na pag madalas mo nang marinig ang mga salitang, ‘Batang bata pa din ah,’” he shared in an Instagram post.
(You know you’re getting old when you often hear the words, “You still look so young.”)
He posted a picture of himself in his teen years, wearing specs, clean-shaven and his hair flopping down. He was then a rising star in television hosting.

He revealed his secret, which involves neither anti-aging creams nor nips and tucks.
“Dapat pag disi-nueve ka yung look mo mukha ka nang kuwarenta, para pag lipas ng dalawang dekada at sinabi nilang ‘uy, parang walang nagbago ah!’”
(When you’re 19, look like you’re 40, so when two decades pass they’ll say, “Hey, it’s like nothing changed!”)
It’s certainly an unconventional way of finding the fountain of youth, and perhaps Agoncillo is one of the few who can benefit from it.
The host and actor celebrated his 39th birthday yesterday; he welcomed becoming a year older with an #Almost40 surprise party organized by wife, Judy Ann Santos. /ra
