WATCH: Samuel L. Jackson gets mean on a rap battle with James Corden
Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson appeared on the rap battle show “Drop the Mic” for a face off with “Carpool Karaoke” host James Corden, and owned the floor.
The battle started out with Corden taking jabs at Jackson’s career. He mentioned how Jackson only gets applause when he shows up in the after credits of Marvel movies like “Iron Man” and “The Avengers” as the eye-patched former director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury.
Jackson hit back that Corden is even less known than him and people only recall his name because of Adele’s appearance in his show “Carpool Karaoke”. Jackson continued the attack saying Corden “looks like a minion in too tight clothes” and ended his rap by flipping the finger.
The tirade of mean insults from Jackson continued, with Corden attempting to fight back by making fun of the actor’s age.
Ultimately, Jackson won out with lines like “you just got shafted”, referencing his 2000 movie “Shaft”, and adding “you got your ass kicked by a man twice your age.”
