Maricar Sebastian on Jam’s death: I will miss his love, humor
MANILA, Philippines—Still grieving over the death of her son, Maricar Sebastian said that what she will most about her son Jamvhille “Jam” Fernando Sebastian is his sense of humor in the face of battling stage 4 lung cancer.
BACKSTORY: Jam Sebastian of Jamich dies
In an interview during Jam’s burial last Sunday, she shared some instances when the other half of the YouTube tandem Jamich played pranks on her.
“I will miss his playfulness even if he is sick. I remember a particular prank when he pretended to be suffering from an attack. I panicked, only to be told that it was a joke and that he was taking a video of me all along. He then said, ‘I love you, Mama’,” she said.
Sebastian said that with Jam’s death, she is unsure how she can move on.
“I don’t know when I can move on. I felt all his pain as his mother. I was there for him 24/7 and I saw how he suffered,” she added.
Yexel, Jam’s brother, also said that he will miss everything about his brother and thanked his supporters who stood with him until his death.
“I will miss everything about Jamvhille. I think everyone who loved and supported him is happy because he was able to inspire them,” he said.
Jam’s funeral was flooded in a sea of white as fans of the popular online couple attended the ceremony. Some supporters said that they turned up for the funeral as they were inspired by the love story of Jam and his fiancée Michelle Liggayu.
Jam died last Wednesday. He was 28-years-old. AJH
