Ellen Adarna hit back at netizens who took aim at her family’s Christmas photo with Derek Ramsay and their kids, Elias and Liana, saying it’s “none of their business” to comment.
On Instagram, Adarna shared a portrait of their family of four as they posed in front of a giant Christmas tree at their home.
Adarna and the two kids wore red tops while Ramsay donned a green long-sleeved shirt. The baby’s face was also covered with an emoji.
In the comments section, a netizen questioned Ramsay’s choice of outfit.
“Why couldn’t Derrick [Derek] at least dress in red?” said the netizen. In response, Adarna wrote, “Paskong pasko omg nangingialam kaa!!! F*ck off.” (It’s Christmas and oh my god, you are medling with our business. Get lost.)
Another comment also caught Adarna’s attention, asking why the baby’s face was covered, in which the actress responded, “To avoid evil eye.”

“Evil eye” is a superstitious belief that suggests that someone can unintentionally or intentionally project negative energy through their gaze that might lead to illness, bad luck, or misfortune for the person being looked at.
Meanwhile, Adarna and Ramsay first sparked dating rumors in January 2021 after being spotted together at a dinner party. Two months later, the pair announced their engagement.
Adarna and Ramsay tied the knot on November 11, 2021, in a ceremony attended by close family and friends. In October 2024, the couple secretly welcomed their first child together, marking a new chapter in their journey as a family.
The pair decided to keep Adarna’s pregnancy private, with the actress addressing the decision, stating, “I just didn’t announce because I don’t want unsolicited advice.”
Prior to her relationship with Ramsay, Adarna was previously in a relationship with actor John Lloyd Cruz, with whom she shares a son, Elias, born in 2018, for which she also maintained a low profile, choosing not to publicize her pregnancy.
Adarna and John Cruz have maintained a co-parenting arrangement, with the former noting that the actor is a good father to their son.
