“All that I wanted was to hold a Sunday worship and thanksgiving since its Sunday and family day,” she wrote.

The letter said she invited a pastor and said her relatives and friends who visited her brought balloons and pop drinks at her cell in Camp Crame in Quezon City

“I feel I am entitled to marking these important youthful dates of my life with my family, friends, and relatives who came all the way from America and provinces, especially that I’m experiencing difficult times,” she said.

She maintained that she was “innocent” despite the charges filed against her.

“I am still an innocent person even as I have been charged [with] serious illegal detention,” she said.

During her birthday on June 1, she also met with Roxanne Cabañero who also filed rape charges against Navarro.
