Guess who came to jail to cheer up Deniece Cornejo on her 23rd birthday?

MANILA, Philippines—Celebrating her birthday under police custody, Deniece Cornejo still got some visitors and one of them is another alleged rape victim of actor Vhong Navarro.

Cornejo, who turned 23 at Camp Crame, is facing criminal charges along with businessman Cedric Lee and his cohorts, over the alleged mauling and illegal detention of Navarro.

Of the visitors, one was experiencing nearly the same prejudice that Cornejo had gone through, Roxanne Cabañero.

Cabañero, who also accused Navarro of rape, described Cornejo as “strong.”

“She’s strong, you can do this, we can do this,” Cabañero said in a television report.

Cornejo said that her visitors have made her stronger and told her supporters that there is still a better tomorrow.

“I want to share my strong persona, my vitality, and that there is still a brighter tomorrow that waits, keep the faith,” Cornejo said.
