Gary Valenciano assures fans he’s well after mysterious tweet asking for ‘miraculous touch’
Gary Valenciano put his fans’ minds at ease by telling them that he will be okay, after they seemingly panicked over his mysterious tweet asking for a “miraculous touch.”
The singer, known as “Mr. Pure Energy,” apparently left fans wondering if he was having any health problems when he made a Twitter post about “challenges” yesterday, Dec. 14.
“Lord…I’m going to need your miraculous touch to get me through tonight and the next few nights to come. Help me not lose the sense and spirit of Christmas in the middle of [all these] challenges. Kindly help in keeping me healthy at all times Lord,” he said without elaborating.

Valenciano, without mentioning any specific health condition, then assured that he is “on my way to getting better” while thanking fans for their concern, in his Twitter post today, Dec. 15.

Valenciano, 58, has faced various health problems through the years, including type 1 diabetes, tuberculosis, hepatitis, an open heart surgery and kidney cancer. The singer also earlier revealed he was told he would only live up to the age of 44.
Despite these struggles, Valenciano is still grateful for the life he has, noting that he does not believe he is living on “borrowed time” but rather “His time.” /ra
