Michelle Madrigal admits new BF ‘not in her plan’: ‘I wanted to be single for as long as I could’

Michelle Madrigal revealed she initially wanted to be single “for as long as she could” after her divorce, but she noted she is glad on how it turned out for her and her new beau.
The actress-fitness trainer gave a peek at their relationship and spoke about the sense of relief and security it brings, through her Instagram page today, Sept. 21.
“God answers prayer according to His perfect will, in His perfect timing,” she said. “This was definitely not in my plan. I wanted to be single for as long as I could…. But boy I’m so glad it happened.”
“It’s so freeing to feel like a lady again. Not having to be in a fight or flight mode all the time,” she added. “It feels like home.”

Madrigal got divorced from former football player Troy Woolfolk last April, almost a year after they announced their separation in 2021. The two of them are co-parenting their daughter, Anika, who they welcomed in 2017.
Madrigal made public her new relationship in August, although she opted not to disclose her boyfriend’s identity. JB
