WATCH: Luis Manzano, Jessy Mendiola exchange vows in intimate wedding

Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola confirmed that they are finally married, and gave fans a glimpse of their intimate wedding.
Mendiola admitted feeling nervous before the ceremony while Manzano asked his friends for marriage advice in another room, as seen in a wedding video that Mendiola showed on YouTube yesterday, April 4. The short video showed Mendiola in a white backless and long-sleeved dress while Manzano wore a pink suit.
Both of them can be seen crying as she walked down the aisle. But Manzano could not help but bring out his funny side by starting off his vows with the lyrics of Gary Valenciano’s “Warrior is a Child.”
Turning serious, he told Mendiola: “Howhow, as we take the step today, I want to promise you that I will love you each day that comes. Even on those days na pareho tayong hindi kamahal-mahal (when we are not worth loving), I will choose to love you. I promise to be your rock when you’re weak, to put on a smile on your face even on the darkest of days.”
“We have been through so much, so many smiles and tears. But I would do it all over again if it means leading me back to you.”
Mendiola, in return, recited her own vows.
“I will protect you. And I promise that if you grow weak, I will be there to fight your battles for you. Today is the beginning of our journey, our lives together. I choose to spend today and all of my tomorrows with you,” she told Manzano, who quipped that her vows were more beautiful than his.
The couple got married at The Farm at San Benito in Batangas, in front of a small group of friends and family, including Manzano’s parents Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano. Everyone is seen wearing face masks during the ceremony.
Manzano and Mendiola have been together for four years before getting engaged last December. JB
