BLACKPINK’s Rosé has reached No. 3 on the latest version of the Billboard Hot 100 with “APT.,” setting a new record as the highest-ranking K-pop female artist on the weekly chart.

The song, Rosé’s collaborative single with US pop star Bruno Mars, climbed two spots to achieve its highest position yet on the Hot 100, Billboard announced in an article published Monday, Jan. 27 (US time).

FEATURED STORIES

The upbeat track has regained momentum in 2025, benefiting from the decline of seasonal songs that had dominated the chart during the 2024 holiday season.

The Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs in the US each week, based on a combination of all-genre streaming, radio airplay, and sales data.

“APT.” is a pre-release single from “rosie,” Rosé’s first-ever full-length solo album, which dropped on Dec. 6.

Inspired by a popular Korean drinking game called the “apartment game,” the track has resonated internationally, thanks to its catchy chorus that repeatedly features the word “apartment,” pronounced as “apateu,” a Korean abbreviation.
