‘Pawer!’: Cong TV hits 8 million subs on YouTube

Filipino YouTube star Lincoln Velasquez, mostly known as Cong TV, now has over 8 million subscribers on the platform.
Cong TV, who is one of the biggest local stars on the video-sharing website, finally breached the mark around 13 years after creating his account.
Fellow content creator and Team Payaman member Tita Krissy Achino shared the news earlier today, March 17, by greeting his friend on Facebook.
“CONGRATS, Cong TV!!! [Eight] Million na mga Solid Ka-Paa! Grabe! Nawa’y patuloy kang magsilbing inspirasyon at ligaya sa lahat ng mga manonood mo,” said Krissy Achino, whose real name is Seth Simon “Chino” Liu.
(Congrats, Cong TV!!! You have eight million solid “Ka-Paa” (Cong TV fanbase) now! I hope you continue to serve as an inspiration and joy to your viewers.)

The said post has since garnered over 52,000 reactions and around 9,300 shares as of this writing. He has yet to post about the milestone.
Cong TV’s latest YouTube vlog titled “KETANO,” which was posted yesterday, March 16, is currently the 38th-top trending video on YouTube Philippines.
He was also recognized by YouTube as the third top local creator on the website last December 2020. Team Payaman, a group of vloggers led by Cong TV, meanwhile, dominated the breakout creators list for this year as six of them made it to the top 10.
Cong TV also posts content on Facebook, where he currently has over 4.5 million followers. /ra
