Heart Evangelista says her COVID-19 effort has reached over 200 people
MANILA, Philippines— After using her personal Twitter page to conduct a daily routine of responding to people’s calls for medical/financial aid and relief goods, actress Heart Evangelista stated that she had reached out to over 200 people.
Evangelista prioritized those who were in “really bad situations,” those who are “in immediate need” due to medical issues, and mothers who were in dire need of milk for their children, according to her Instagram post on Tuesday, April 21.
Recently, Evangelista took her personal COVID-19 effort to her Instagram account as well in an attempt to reach more people. The actress reiterated her call for support for those in need after the enhanced community quarantine was extended until April 30.
The TV host also revealed that sometimes the endeavor did overwhelm her.
“[Yes,] I do get overwhelmed, so I just tell myself to breathe and take it one day at a time,” she said. “On some days, it gets difficult because online banking goes down, but again, I just try keep things going no matter how slowly.”
